Didn’t Ricky Henderson play for the L.I. Ducks? or am I totally off base there.
furioustoaster

It seems like 80% of former major leaguers signing in independent leagues, occurs with the Long Island Ducks.

J.R. House’s career has always been an enigma to me.
With all the turds that have managed to leech onto MLB rosters over the years how has a catcher with some pretty decent minor league #’s not gotten more chances at the majors?

I’ve always wondered why the Astros never wanted to give Clemens’ kid a shot with how he rakes in the minors. Sure I doubt he plays great defense and he’s probably a quad A guy but when they are trotting out bums like Quintero and Towels, and they are the Astros, what do they have to lose? Catchers are a weird group.
