Profar is a stud. He needs to be moved to 2nd base. Imagine a double play duo of Andrus and Profar for the next 7 years. Wow.

Maybe he should be ready to move into Kinsler’s spot in the next year or so.
Martin Wayne Guerrero
No more like 3-4 Years the guy is only 18 years old let him develop. Dont wana bring him up to early.
Rangersfan32 2
Exactly. Kindler will still be elite for 2 or 3 years. Then Profar could step in.
Martin Wayne Guerrero
Kinsler. But yea, In a 3-4 years when Kinsler, Hamilton, CJ, and MY are gone the Rangers (If all the prospects work out) will not miss a beat with SS/2B Profar, OF Beltre, SP Perez, SP Nefti Feliz, C Jorge Alfaro, SP/CL Neil Ramirez, SP/CL Wilmer Font, SP Robbie Erlin, INF Luis Sardinas, 3B Christian Villanueva just so manny guys who can be impact players just waiting to take over.

what i’ve see from Martin is that he’s an excellent defensive outfielder

Sounds like this Martin guy is the same player as Julio Borbon.

No power doesn’t mean no bat. Martin is apparently a true leadoff man who knows how to work a count and get on base to use that speed. Borbon has almost zero functional baseball skills. He’s fast. That’s it. He doesn’t get good reads on flyballs, he has no patience at the plate and doesn’t have that good of instincts on the basepaths. And he’s reaching the age that you have to start wondering whether any of those things will ever develop.
