Weaver is a stud. He deserves whatever he gets out of the Angels.

I’d like it to be a healthy extension.
But with the current management group, it will probably be a below-market offer that will explode after 24 hours.

If Weaver elects to go free agent and signs with a team that can actually hit the ball (unlike his current team), look out.
Lunchbox45
I see him hitting the market too

I liked this only for the actual spelling of “one” in the exclamation points. lol

It’s a common typo.

The Yankees are probably afraid of signing another Weaver.

They weren’t afraid to acquire another Vasquez after what happened in 2004… oh wait that was the same one, and it went about as well as it did in 2004… the Yankees wholeheartedly subscribe to the theory that history repeats itself, unfortunately.

One thing is certain. He will win his arbitration hearing this time 🙂

How much will Jered Weaver make next year? Believe me sweety he’ll have enough to feed the needy.

Pay the man! Please, Arte… pay the man!
BrianC
Arte better. Weaver struggled last night with his command and still lasted six innings and only gave up four runs. How many pitchers can do that when their pitches aren’t working? That’s a decent start for most pitchers. Arte has let a lot of players leave but Jered Weaver is one who is worth keeping.

They’ll pay em,Tim.He’s too good,not to.
