rockies should seriously deal for david wright. wright alone would give us an *inconsistent* offense capable of averaging 6 runs per game. i say bettis, friedrich, and wheeler gets it done if the rockies eat most of wrights salary.

Beene hahn and cherington are the only names that I want to hear associated with the new GM opening in chicago. This epstein cashman and friedman stuff is just redicioulous. I hope that this doesnt deter anyone from my list of hopefull GM’s away from the job because of the fleita extension.

If Mccourt is still the owner (and he will be), the “big bat” is probably going to be Wilson Betemit to fill a hole at 3B or perhaps Cody Ross for LF given he meets Colletti’s primary criteria:
