Yes, good point, although I guess there’s still an outside chance that they’ll hire a new GM and even more outside chance that the new GM will want to hire his own manager.

Alomar Jr. would be a good choice. Out of all the choices he’s the one that feels like he would be the best one to deal with the club house. Although if the Cubs grab Theo I would support getting Sandberg as payback.

Just an idea but ide like to see an old face take over in Boston give me hard nosed no bullshit guy like Carlton Fisk as Manager or Jim Rice, Dwight Evans, Rick Burleson have them in charge you wont see clubhouse bullshit happening.
