I’d be happy if the Rockies got Oswalt, but I seriously doubt it happens.
NYPOTENCE
If I were the Rockies I would prefer to set my sites on two lesser pitchers to add some more depth. Perhaps Chen and Maholm could be serviceable
thekoshow
Well then it’s a good thing you’re not the Rockies. Chen + Maholm = Rockies lose 100 games.
Alex Hoefer
Bruce Chen was 24-15 the last two years with the Royals. I don’t see why you would hate for your team to have him.
Brandon
Dbacks should really try to land one of Buehrle, Kuroda or Oswalt.

Or at least do something. If you just look at the rosters they are behind the Giants, Rockies and Dodgers. It would be a shame to watch them blow all the strides they made by thinking that they are really a consistent contender.

petco pitcher alert– 3.05 era home 4.70 away

Last time I checked, Dodger Stadium is a pitcher-friendly ballpark. Aaron Harang on a one year deal wouldn’t be terrible.
Bye Bye Baby Bonanza
The Giants payroll is going up. No surprise there.

The giants have 50 million coming off the books after 2012. They could backload any contract and add any player/players they want.
genius.gm.on.mlb.the.show
hopefully they do
Mark
seriously? whose contracts are being dumped after 2012? I wish Zito anyway lol

We need to hire “Mr. Padre”, Tony Gwynn, as our new hitting coach.
