On the “Not everything is rosy down in Miami, as a report surfaced that Hanley Ramirez prefers a trade rather than changing positions to accommodate new teammate Jose Reyes.” Why not make them both happy and platoon them? 🙂

NOW IS THE TIME FOR THE BRAVES TO GO GET THAT IMPACT BAT THEY SEEK…TRADE JJ HOOVER TODD REDMOND MIKE MINOR AND ED LUCAS TO THE MARLINS FOR HANLEY RAMIREZ AND PROSPECTS……..IT SOLVES TWO PROBLEMS FOR THE BRAVES IT GIVES THEM AND IMPACT HITTER AND IT ALSO FILLS THEIR NEED FOR A dynamic shortstop that can hit homers from the right side and the braves desperately need another right handed hitter to balance out that lefty dominated lineup…in addition it fills a need for the marlins in the fact that they need pitching desperately and as everyone who has ever followed baseball knows they have the deepest minor league pitching pool in the majors….the only drawback is its trading with a divisional rival but with the major league baseball being what it is in todays econonomy you do whatever you have to to make your team better regardless of divisional lines in my opinion…..

The Phillies seem to be a good fit for Gio, the A’s need Ofers Brown, and Biddle or May would get this deal done. That would give the Phils a killer rotation again.

The Tigers also have the pieces to land Gio- Boesch and Crosby or Oliver.
