Silly Rosenthal, years are dollars
$24144853
Cole Hamels would look great in BLUE. This guy is worth every penny. Having two lefties like Kershaw and Hamels would be epic. With the Dodgers new ownership it shouldn’t be to difficult to sign Hamels, i mean the Dodgers only have $41mm committed to next year so they have a lot of flexibility. Unlike the Phillies who would have to pay him more than Lee and Halliday just because of his age. Im sure Cole Hamels would love to come back to the West Coast and pitch in a pitchers ballpark like Dodgers Stadium. If Cole Hamels becomes a free agent he can ask the Dodgers for whatever money and year’s he wants.
At this point the Phillies should just trade him and get some amazing position players and maybe a young up and coming pitcher. It would also make scents for the Phillies because it dosen’t look like Chase Utley health is getting any better.

The Rangers won’t commit a ton of years to a soon-to-be 30 Kinsler. Not only has Kinsler dealt with several injuries in the past, they have Jurickson Profar who could be the future 2B if Andrus stays at SS.
..of course, they could always sign Kinsler long-term and play him at DH. God Bless the American League.

It seems to always be years with the Rangers…which really is understandable considering their farm system.

I’m thinking they are probably trying to sign him to a 4/5 year deal and he is balking

There’s a lot of chatter within the Rangers organization to move Kinsler to RF, Elvis to 2nd and Jurickson to SS…

Note to the NFL, if Frank McCourt approaches you about a team in LA…just say , “Pass.”
