This is what a dynasty does…Let’s get it done Giants!

Dynasties also tend to make the playoffs more than 1 time in 9 years.

No they rebuild, draft smart, and keep young, talented core players. No more Rowands, or Zitos please lol

Cain, Bumgarner, Posey, Pablo, and Belt are good pieces to build around, I like these moves. Lincecum’s asking price may be too high, but we’ll have to see how he performs this year and if he truly wants to reach free agency.

not a giants fan so no bias here…
If the giants arent in the hunt.. they should really consider just trading lincecum for a minimum of a good bat…
seems like they locking up pitching but now they need offense help.. and lets face it.. lincecum hasnt been the same.. i watched a game the other day and his velocity has gone down.. might as well just trade him for offense to go along with the pitching they already have locked in for years…

The Giants want to build with the farm system and hold on to their own players when they are free agents. You want to build a young core. Lincecum, Cain, Bumgarner, Posey, Sandavol, Belt is a good young core to start with.

Lincecum is not the same pitcher he has been. He’s barely hitting 90 now and getting lit up. He’s either hurt or the pitching has taken its toll on his body at this point. Giants would be wise to trade him while he still has value.
