I don’t see how you can view Jeremy Guthrie as a serious trade candidate at this point. He’s been terrible and will cost $2.7 million dollars for a 2-month trade deadline rental. Maybe if he pitches lights out until July, maybe, but we all know that’s not going to happen.

I just don’t think Jamie Moyer will be let go by the Rockies. He is too big of a clubhouse presence. And with how bad Bob Apodaca is as a pitching coach he will stay.

I understand loyalty, but we’ve all also seen athletes hang on to old friends who do nothing but drag them down, and we all lampoon those guys for not cutting ties with them instead.
O’Dowd has handed Tracy a sub-standard MLB roster and Tracy has made that problem even worse with his mismanagement of it.

“I’m all in. No backing out now.” Well unless you’re canned Dano. Then you have to back out and you’re firing would be intentional as well.
Man the natives are restless in “Rockie Country.”

2 players remaining from a 07 WS team and I believe 30 of the 38 roster spots that left returned 0 players that are currently on the roster.
Including a more than a few former all-stars. I’m not saying that Hawpe, Atkins, Cook and Francis are good players now, but at one time they had trade value, yet the Rockies let them all deteriorate before non tendering them.
