If you read Ratto’s article, it seems rather like he doesn’t actually have any sources and is mostly trying to establish a narrative that doesn’t reflect actual, y’know, facts.

“…
the Giants are growing frustrated with Sandoval’s questionable work ethic and are unsure whether he’ll be part of their “core in years to come.””
gotta love the full on speculations.. how does this situation have anything to do with his work ethics??? they just signed him to a 3 yr deal!

To me it means the Giants have had issues with Pablo, but not so bad to not sign for 3 years. But with these new developments, the Giants have even more frustration with Pablo.
Being a major fan favorite and the fact he can hit, makes it tougher for the Giants. More pressure to keep a player you might not really want anymore.
But as of now he’s innocent until proven guilty. If he did something wrong, then #!$@ him! But people in Santa Cruz county know who he is and he might have been a target. Who knows.

I gotta say, watching Pablo on TV taking grounders, he looks FAT. I don’t think the speculation is far off, if it’s off at all.
