Don’t rent him then. Sign him. You can’t continue to suck every year and let the Yankees, Blue Jays, Red Sox and Rays pound on you. Prospects don’t win world series. #1 starters do.

#1 Starters start out as prospects.

The Orioles have more to trade than just Machado or Bundy. Starting with MacPhail and continuing under Duquette, the Orioles system is being rebuilt and there are very nice pieces. Schoop, Delmonico, Hoes, Espositio, Zagone, to name a few. They have guys spread throughout the system. That doesn’t even include people like Matusz, Arrieta, Hunter, Johnson, or Socolovich. All these guys have stuff that transfers very well to the NL Central. BTW, Matusz has given up just one hit through five against Charlotte so far tonight. Think he wants back to Baltimore?

knowing the Orioles luck with their prospects they are better off trading them for established players.
