It’s sad. I looked forward to the trade deadline every year for getting some pieces to fill the holes.
Now I am watching this year’s deadline praying that Beckett is shipped out and he waives his 10-5s…

Based on what is available now and scheduled to be a FA this winter, Josh is better than almost every one of them.
M.Kit
Similar to Rangers adding to the BP to put Ogando in the rotation
M.Kit
Being able to add Morales to the rotation would be just as good as most of the realistic SP options out there
Karkat
Who would get bumped, though? They’d have to be planning to move someone. probably Cook?
M.Kit
Probably Cook. Maybe Nationals would be interested in some Cook/Shoppach deal
Brandon Smith
good
Cornelius Williams
Rangers are out on everybody, just forget about it JD, this season is over anyway..
SteveKollias
matt thornton for mauro gomez
Javier Mejia
I think Beckett would look great pitching a game number 2 for the Dodgers! If boston eats half the contract and dont expect an A or B plus prospect, maybe a B or 2 C’s.

Wonder if there’s a possible deal between the Cubs and Red Sox for James Russell?
Clark Menard
David O’Brien tweeted last night: #RedSox have one of their top scouts here tonight at Turner Field for
#Braves vs. #Marlins, and I’m told he’s not here to see #Marlins.
Wonder if the 2 innings pitched by Luis Avilan were an audition?
Cornelius Williams
Perez for Dempster sounds great for Texas, but doubt it would get done..
Deftones17
They just got Craig Breslow from the Dbacks for Podsednik and Albers.

A lefty in the bullpen is why they put Morales back out their. Oh good grief. He was their best starter.
