Our bullpen should be fine next year… we need 1-2 more starters, a better everyday LF and DH with Edwin at 1st. He is good defensively as far as glove work hence why he’s at 1B not 3B anymore lol his throwing accuracy sucks. Anyhow… we need someone like Sanchez or Anderson, or Marcum back, somebody who can throw a lot of innings and get outs. No more injuries, we need someone reliable. Wouldn’t see Ortiz coming to DH with us because he’ll want a lot and we need that extra money for starters if you don’t package a Escobar/Arencibia type deal somewhere. Though we shouldn’t get rid of Arencibia yet, maybe not even Lind who should be dealt, too. Though Lind is starting to come around towards the end of the season stretch…AA will know what to do, I’ll leave the rest to him. LOL

Blue Jays better copy somebody because they keep playing the way they’ve been playing, they may never win again.

I guess Ozzie didn’t get the memo.

good luck prying bourn away from the braves especially since they have chipper’s 15 million eric hinkse’s 4.5 million and derek lowe’s 15.75 million coming off the books..with that much money coming off the books for the braves, not to mention o’flaherty’s money and possibly moylan’s insurance money kicking in im pretty sure they are gonna make a concerted effort to resign bourn

They don’t have Lowe’s “$15.75 million” coming off the books at all – they only paid part of that this year. Heyward, Hanson, and Venters will get nice raises. I do think though that they will make a competitive offer for Bourn.

Chemistry? Try injuries. How many Dodgers on the opening day roster have not visited the DL at least once? I can think of only three. Try having 11 players out for the season.
vtadave
Yeah that is part of it, but consider all the payroll that hasn’t contributed this year – Crawford, Puig, the money still owed to Manny, etc. They shoudl be much better next year.
BlueSkyLA
The good new is, the days of salary deferrals should be over. Puig is a gamble that might pay off but not for a year or more probably. Next year can’t help but be better, if half the team doesn’t end up in the hospital again.

AA’s main focus has been the bullpen every year, unfortunately it hasn’t worked out for him.
johnsmith4
Actually, it has worked out for him. In previous years, he filled out the bullpen with the intent of turning the players into draft picks. It has paid off with the second best farm system. He even had the best draft this year.
