I can see the Os trying to reacquire Lindstrom. He did a good job for the Os.
The DBacks were right to cut him. 4M is slightly pricey for a non-closer, but at a reduced rate he’s a bargain. I think that was part of the calculation Duquette was making by dealing him for Saunders, maybe believing that they’d have another chance to acquire him in the offseason.

I liked him. I don’t know why we just didn’t pay him 2 mil instead of getting Heath Bell.

I totally agree. Bring him back.

Would have been a better investment for the Dodgers than throwing 3 years 23 million dollars at Brandon League. Lindstrom after coming back from injury pitched well.

Dan.. The pressure of Lindstrom closing makes him ‘crackers” he can’t handle it and implodes.. Goes “Marmol” and walks the bases loaded. he seems to have found a niche now as a 7-8th IP guy, but wouldn’t ever want him closing again. Can ask any marlins fan and probably Houston as well. He just can’t take the pressure.
Makes Kevin Gregg look like an AS closer and he took over for gregg.. “us” Marlins fans couldn’t believe someone who was so dominant as a setup guy could be so terrible as a closer.
