I tend to agree, I’m also hoping the search ends with the 5 candidates so far (yes, I’m including Farrell, simply because it will be brought up again and again) so they can name officially name a new manager by the end of the WS.

Couldn’t agree more. They should have their choice by then and it seems like this time the process has been done the right way, as opposed to last offseason.

I hope that “changes in the coaching staff” for the Marlins include replacing Eduardo Perez as the hitting coach. I have “no idea” how he’s kept his job this long.

Brad Ausmus: Nick Cafardo describes him as from Connecticut and “the smartest guy in the room”. He says the Red Sox should definitely hire him. Where have I read that before, Nick?
