this off season has been very surprising seeing teams like the As,marlins and astros making good sound baseball moves to improve their team
not_brooks
Aside from this one, right?
mrshyguy99
if he can improve his value and play to at least the level he played in 2012 he can be a decent 1st/DH for the astros unless they want him in the OF and carter at first

What’s wrong with this? The only thing the Astros are risking is money. If he can return to form and have a solid 1st half, Lunhow can trade him for a quality prospect. If he doesn’t return to form, they’re out a few million bucks. This is exactly the kind of move the Astros should be making.
Bryan E.
Aside from the Scott Feldman signing i’d agree with you.
Matt Galvin
He can play numerous Postions.
godzillacub
He can play numerous positions, poorly.
Fixed that for you.
Bill Smith
Take it easy, he’s a kid. Be glad he’s taking interest in baseball, rather than the Kardashian’s.
letsgogiants
It’s not like he’s thrashing him mercifully or personally criticizing him. It’s just a small joke.

Morse and Porter would work very well together. He is a very poor outfielder, okay first baseman and could always DH. The reason he’d be on the team would be to hit home runs and be a clubhouse guy. I’d say a good move for the Astros.
iamrightyouarewrong
He’s an excellent bounce back candidate. He was hurt much of last season. $7 million for one year would be a smart move for the Astros.
Bill Smith
I don’t know, I wouldn’t want him on my club. He had that one really good year a couple years ago, but he’s gonna be 32 in a few months and hasn’t shown a propensity for that type of production the rest of his career.
BadBJay
So I guess $7 million is the new league minimum? Hits .215 with bad defense.
