Too me, Kuroda is the number 1. Move CC down to number 4 (where he belongs). Nova will be #3 or 4 and Tanaka #2 untl he proves he is the Yankees best starter. Hopefully, Pineda will finally pitch this year. The Yankees could use an easy time with the rotation this year.

You need an outfielder, we got an ancient one in Ichiro and a youngster in Wells. Wells will make your owner buy a team next year, or perhaps have a heart attack. Either way it may be a shot in the arm for the Orioles woes. Palmer and Thorne may drink themselves to death.

Awesome explanation, thanks Tom.

I would think Santana would still be bitter over all those games over the years with the Mets in which he got absolutely no run support. I’d be a little surprised if Santana re-signed with them again.

Meh, save the money and go after Stephen Drew.

It’s not Jeter hatred. It’s an acknowledgement that Jeter has lost a step and isn’t as valuable as Brett Gardner, a much younger player in his prime, in the lineup. He may prove otherwise, but I think Gardner 2nd gives us the best chance to win. I won’t doubt Derek, though. We’ll see what he can do first.
