I was actually jus talking specifically about relievers and I just used the Mets as an example. Unless you are the Cardinals, Braves, etc a bullpen is generally developed through quantity, not quality. I think teams should try to bring as many Farnsworth/Valverde/Hawkins/Isringhausens to camp as they can. I honestly am not worried about “blocking” prospects. Vic Black, or even Rondon for the Tigers, are just proof of how volatile relievers are so I think teams should really just scrape the bottom of the barrel and hope they find a gem or 2
