No Brett Pill. No Brett Krill. I’m no doctor, but stop drafting guys named Brett who have two “L’s” at the back of their last name. Go Giants!

Ok krill-ee clarkson.
Chioakcisco
Based on his name alone, I bet Krill is going to Anaheim.
Melvin Mendoza, Jr.
Are they expanding their horizons to all types of seafood now?
BlueSkyLA
The Krill is gone.

Figgins is a great utility man and somebody will sign him soon and it might be the yankees
Melvin Mendoza, Jr.
What difference does it make what Figgins is slugging? He’s never been a big XBH guy. Next are they going to knock Clayton Kershaw because he’s batting below the Mendoza line?

The Dodgers don’t know what OBP is. They still think Eric Karros was a valuable player for them.
Ron Greenawalt
the pirates could use him and end the nix martinez experiment
The Ghost of Bobby Bonilla
I’m not trying to be snarky, but I had no idea that Figgins was still in the bigs. I thought he was done a couple of seasons ago after playing for Seattle. What are you going to tell me next that Gil Meche was DFA’ed?
BlueSkyLA
He was signed to a minor league contract and made the team out of Spring Training. He was making a useful contribution as a utility infielder until he was injured. They picked up Darwin Barney to replace him. But since all of this happened on the West Coast…
The Ghost of Bobby Bonilla
I follow things on the West Coast, just surprised by hearing Figgins’ name. By the way, my favorite player ever is/was Scott Van Slyke’s dad. Therefore I’m also a huge fan of his son and his Brian Wilson-like beard.
BlueSkyLA
Sorry for sounding grouchy about that. A lot of East Coast fans don’t follow much baseball in this time zone. Van Slyke’s beard isn’t quite in Wilson territory yet, but small birds could become lost in it.

One of these days Francouer is going to remember how to play baseball. And when that day comes, watch out.
I Believe We Can Win
He knows how to play baseball. He just doesn’t know what a walk is.

The headline made me think Richie was back…
