At some point you just need to admit that throwing a baseball is not what you are meant to do Venters

So unfortunate too since he’s quite a good reliever. He can still make it back but you would think after a third TJ his confidence must be shot.

Maybe he should teach himself to pitch with his right hand. Probably wouldn’t work, but it would be worth a shot. It couldn’t hurt anyway, the left arm seems to be gone.

Phillies bullpen is going to be nasty next year with MAG, Diekman, Giles, DeFratus, and probably Papelbon. It’s a shame that their 3-5 starters are going to have them down 6 runs by the time they come in. (Maybe 2-5 if Lee can’t get healthy and/or Hamels gets traded)

I hate to play the blame game, but Fredi Gonzalez has to feel guilty after throwing Venters out there for 171 innings during 2010-11.

Sad as it was O’Flaherty and Venter’s who made Kimbrel look even better a few years ago.

with Wright’s shoulder problems i guess the Mets are looking to move him to short stop or maybe even 1B

Hong-Chih Kuo had a solid career after three TJs, including an All-Star appearance.
