It seems like Colby Rasmus has trouble with coaching in general…

I would hire Tom Lawless as the Manager.
Then Hire Willie Randolph as the Bench Coach
I think that would work
That way there’s no disruption! At least that’s the way I feel about it!

Rasmus doesn’t want to take advice from any hitting coach. This was the problem with him and his father in St. Louis.

Releasing JD Martinez wasn’t a mistake. The dude wasn’t hitting for power, and really wasn’t even hitting the ball. He needed the change of scenery. However, I’ll be shocked if he has this season again.
Luhnow whiffed on Albers and Crain, but hit big time on McHugh and Sipp. You gotta swing the bat to make something happen.

Rasmus will never thrive until he learns to hit the other way. You know what they say though. You can lead a horse to water…

You can lead a horse to water…but you can’t fundamentally change the way he approaches a 95mph fastball on the low outside corner… my grandpapi said that all the time.
