You get Hendricks! You get Hendricks! Everybody gets Hendricks!

So now A. A. Is scouring the garbage heap for pitchers. Whose next, Esmil Rogers? Oh yeah he’s been here before too!

More of the same from A.A. You may recall that before joining the Jays he was the guy who started with a paperclip and fourteen trades later had a house. If he picks up enough paper clips he may be able to skip the first thirteen trades and turn them into a deal for an all-star.
It seems like he has spent an inordinate amount of time adding fringe players to the minor leagues over the past three seasons who can then be called up for a week or two if necessary. I think their is a case to be made for giving a young guy a shot. Their are far more examples of players who surprised everyone and made the jump, than players who were brought up to early and then had their careers supposedly ruined from a few weeks in the bigs.

He’s nothing more than AAA depth, Jays promised the Bisons that they’d make sure their AAA affiliate was competitive. I’d laugh and than cry if this and Smoak were AA’s “big moves” this off-season.

It’s a shame he’s not interested in making the Blue Jays competitive.

Good minor league depth as long as he doesn’t get called up.
