The Astros County article is about how the pitchers they have traded since the end of the 2013 season have turned out and whether or not they would improve the current rotation.. It goes pretty in depth on Lyles, Cosart, Tropeano, and Foltynewicz. An interesting read but not really about pitchers from the Astros past that I was looking for like Oswalt, Norris, Wandy Rodriguez et al. I look forward to your weekly blog update every Sunday..

I disagree with Camden Depot’s article on Nelson Cruz 100%!!! For a man his size, with his power, and his age, to call him slow and unathletic sounds more like sour grapes. To be “surprised” that his numbers are good this year is simply trying to stomach that the Orioles, who would need him, flat out wouldn’t pay the guy. And one last touch, Jack Z. of the M’s doesn’t “keep on spending for power”. Cruz is the first legitimate power guy Jack has had the opportunity to go out and get. Cano is not a power guy, more an all around baseball player. Very one sided, poor sided, article, in my opinion.
