Draven Moss
Wasn’t he considered a tough sign? If so, good on the Cardinals for getting him at slot value.

He’ll probably turn into the next Stan Musial. And some 37th round pick for them will come up and be their ace for the rest of the year and guide them to the world series. Cardinals somehow pull it off every year. I’ll never count them out even if they fielded a whole team of Tony Campanas.
East Coast Bias
It’s quite annoying, isn’t it? That team is just run better than any other. As a fan of another team, I respect them for how they go about their business, but I’m also extremely jealous.

Pretty much sums up how I feel too. They’re amazingly run.

I’m not complaining, but there is a real lack of bats in the system right now.

Don’t worry a damn bit. They’ll be fine. They have been for decades..

This wasn’t a tough sign… they obviously knew he would sign in that slot or they wouldn’t have picked him 1st. I’m sure they came to terms well before him being selected. Same as the Cubs wanting to draft Jared Padgett in the 3rd round, but he told them he wasn’t interested in the offer…. which is why they drafted Bryan Hudson instead. Although that is still a great pick.

It looked to be difficult for the Cardinals to sign all of their picks because many thought Plummer would cost over slot value. Not that people didn’t think they would sign Plummer himself, it’s obvious they had a deal before the Cardinals drafted him.

Sure, I understand that and agree. A lot thought that signing Plummer himself was the issue, and I was just saying that was never the issue.

Why the Tigers didn’t draft him I’ll never know.
