This smelled fishy from the get go. It’s good that this decision was made and Arruebarrena can get back to playing baseball. If the Dodgers don’t want him in their system they should either trade him or release him and be done with it.

Arruebarrena was outrighted in January, so he is subject to testing for drugs of abuse, and was tested upon reporting to spring training. I’t not that.

He’s off their 40 man roster, so his salary just hurts their wallet, not their salary cap.
