The team is starting to gel under Jennings? Or Stanton has been tearing the cover off the ball do everything looks better?
Portland Micro-Brewers
I wonder if NY and LA ever talked Gee for Ethier or if the Mets just had 100% confidence in the Cuddyer signing.

I don’t think they were interested in the rest of his salary, since he’s still under contract through 2017.

Way too much being made of Gee. Remember John Lannon? Same thing. A short term, back end NL starter and nothing more. He’s now a AAAA retread guy, who will get a few starts for desperate teams, or short term fill in for some team who loses a starter and has no depth. Hopefully an NL team, cause this guy will get hammered in the AL.

I’m not sure if you’re kidding, but Gee has much better numbers than Lannan had over his career.

Jennings is, at best, the beneficiary of the positive regression of an under-performing team.
