That’s good on the Indians handling of Aviles’ situation. Sometimes baseball has to take a back seat to what goes on in the players lives

It’s definitely a very classy and respectable move. I have to give credit to the Indians organization for making that decision.

Why on earth would they want to sell Kipnis, Brantley, Santana, Carrasco, or Kluber? Those are all reasonably young, good players, and none of them has a huge contract. Maybe sell some of the older pieces (though it’s unlikely anybody really wants Bourne or Swisher), but why break up a solid young core, especially when Lindor will likely be full time next season and the young pitching should only be getting better?

What a terrible season it’s been for Chisenhall. He’s still a young guy and had a solid bat last season. Maybe keep him in triple A for a while and see if he bounces back

Chisenhall might be a sweetener/throw in in a deal…just can’t imagine he has much value
