Wow this is interesting. Ozuna could be a nice piece for a non-contender. Any OF with 20+ HR potential that is controllable is worth a look.

I’m thinking Fiers and a prospect on the level of a Michael Reed or Victor Roache would be interesting. Ozuna would be ideal replacement for Gomez, who could bring back guy to slot in Fiers’ rotation spot in 2016. Not that it matters but Fiers is a south Florida guy.

Marlins probably wouldn’t want Fiers being that he’s the pitcher who hit Stanton in the face.

Ozuna’s right handed bat would look good in Rangers outfield. Wonder what the fish would want in return. Maybe Nick Williams and Chi Chi?

Does anyone know how Ozuna is doing in the minors?

From the post above…
‘And he’s done nothing but rake since going back to the minors.’

.344 with 4 homers in 64 at bats.

He reminds me of Dayan Viciedo. Had 1-2 good power seasons in Chicago but would not learn to take a walk. It’s redeeming that he can play CF though unlike Viciedo, who was a butcher in LF.

Nah. Hes not like viciedo at all. Ozuna has speed and defense. Viciedo was bat only.

Going to need a little more than Ozuna to get one of those arms.
