The Giants should move on from Lincecum, but I think if he wants to come back they’ll resign him. I’d say he’d need to take a pretty big pay cut, but who knows?

Myers is in a group of outfielders that are a dime a dozen type players. He may very well grow into a great player but I never saw it when he was coming up through the Royals organization.

“Myers is confident in his ability to rebound once the wrist injury is fully healed”
Good. I don’t want him back until the wrist IS fully healed. His presence in the lineup was definitely a good thing but we need him at full health. We saw what wrist injuries did to Alonso and Maybin in the past. Don’t play through the injury, just fix it.

Was it a Boston scout that said he could be a gold glover at 1B based on his athleticism? Hanley never got the hang of LF, despite his athleticism.
