He’s always been an enigmatic guy, for better or for worse. I wish him the best, as a fan of the game and as someone who has been through similar life challenges.

I remember in an interview they asked him the key to hitting and he said see ball hit ball. Quirky but fun guy, I liked him when he was with the Orioles.

Unfortunately, although I remember he was a productive player, what I will remember most is him going on a radio show and saying how he hated the city of Baltimore because there was no nightlife, nothing to do after the games were over. That spoke volumes to me about what his priorities were.

gotta wonder if the FO of the giants is thinking about a reunion and having belt split in the OF since it will be cheap and loved by the fans, freeing up more pitching $

Rooting for him!

Well done, Steve. Good for AH. Hope he makes it all the way back.

I’d take him over Hanley Ramirez and I’d save a bundle.

Just please keep the rally thong in the closet.

I got an autographed Topps card of him when I was a kid.
He signed it “Huff Daddy”
Really hope he makes it back!

Aubrey was meant to be on the 2010 team. Both Adam Laroche and Nick Johnson turned down Giants offers. Giants were the only team to offer Aubrey a contract.
He crushed it! We don’t win it without him!
Good luck Aubrey!! Wish you the best!

looks like a Baltimore fill in. 1b or DH

Perhaps Tampa Bay or Milwaukee might take a chance??

Agree, minor league deal with an invite to Spring Training should get it done for either team.

Angels can sign him to fill in for Pujols at the start of the season

As a Giants fan, I’ll always remember what Aubrey Huff meant to the success of the team in 2010, their first WS Championship season ever – in the city of SF. It’s the longest of longshots, but I’d love to see the Giants sign him to a minor league deal, with a chance to help win another one, if the situation arises…hey, you never know.

Your nostalgia is kicking in. They re-signed him to a 2 year deal after 2010 and he was abysmal. He’s even older now.

Aubrey huff needs a reality check on the people who educate themselves by going to school and having hard working parents.
