You can tell the Braves are trying to build something. They now have 2 carpenters in their bullpen.
jacobsigel1025
That was actually pretty clever

They’re digging deep, they have miner, code named Minor, to back it up.
Something big is brewing, when you have Miller.
Something is cooking, because the rotation is about to be Fried.
They’re working so hard, even Freeman feels like a slave.
The puns are all over the team!

They must be Griling up something down there.
R.D.
They were Bourn for this.

I posted a video of “If I Were A Carpenter” by Johnny and June Carter Cash in response to this signing.

That Maybin a bit funny.

If carpenter can get back to his old self he will drastically help this young braves bullpen. Love the signing

I like this move for ATL. He did well for the braves during his stint here. And if worse come to worse, atleast he has experience behind the dish. Lol can’t be worse than bethancourt.

It’s not a major signing, but I really dig this move by the Bravos. I hope Carpenter can revitalize his career and find the success he had previously with us. Low risk, high(ish) reward potential. Good move Bravos. Welcome back Dave; a Morgantown boy represent!

This is one of the better moves the Braves have made lately!
Carpenter has had very good numbers for most of his 5 years in the NL and awful numbers for the 2 seasons he has pitched in the AL. If you take out the few games he pitched against the O’s and Jays last season his numbers were league average or better.

Finally a move atl has made that I can get on board with.
I’m not sure what exactly happened to carpenter after we dealt him but he’s got talent and can pitch at this level
Hoping he gets comfortable being back and does well

“The Indians announced that Taiwanese righty C.C. Lee was sold to the Saitama Seibu Lions”
Does a player have to approve of this type of deal or can a club just do it without any approval whatsoever? It makes sense that clubs can trade or sell contracts within the same league without permission, but to sell someone to a another league makes a player sound like chattel.
