Samardzija has never played for a real solid team. I can see him doing very well with the Giants

Not sure what that has to do with anything. The A’s were quite good, as I recall.

What are you talking about? When he got traded to the As, they had a handful of players enjoying Allstar years.
dyltown22
Yeah and he pitched very well in Oakland… Your only proving his point more

Great to know that Friedman doesn’t think off-season signings usually lead to October parades. Given Dodgers have not had one of those since 1988, is he thinking that re-signing A.J. Ellis and possibly Chase Utley will be enough to finally bring home another banner to Chavez Ravine?? Apparently so.
Los Calcetines Rojos
really have to wonder if the dodgers are calling about Sonny Gray and Chris Sale right about now. West is looking to be a pretty good race and Grienke hurts big time

Ooops replied to the wrong person

A’s and Chicago would be looking to fleece the Dodgers if they were.
mrshyguy99
Well with how Dodgers value thier farm I doubt they would do a trade with them. Unless they want players who aren’t name Seager Pederson and Urias
Los Calcetines Rojos
agreed. Teams do panic though I mean I’m sure no one thought Addison Russell would get traded 2 years ago since the A’s depend on young talent so much

A certain Cuban name of Puig would get any teams interest im sure though, they are stacked in the Outfield.

That’s the going rate for mid-rotation FA starting pitching.
