Wish Joyce well. He’s better than what he showed last year. Tough season for him. Bore far more wrath from Angels fans than he deserved.
Monkey’s Uncle
I don’t want him to be handed a job, but if he earns it, he can do quite well for himself in Pittsburgh. Marts tends to get nicked up with all of the HBP he takes, Polanco is still young and prone to slump, and Hurdle has been careful about giving Cutch some days off. Lefties can have fun with that right field wall in PNC. No reason Joyce can’t be the good version of Travis Snider.

Good comparison to Snider, no reason he can’t produce a .260 with about 10 hrs and 40 rbi’s along with solid defense and a good clubhouse guy.

Excellent points, Joyce represents a great lefty bat off the bench who can spell Marte and Polly on days of rest and fill in in case of injuries. Hope he pans out in the Burgh
