Am I the only one who looks for the redsox guy to say something on every post?
dwilson10
No I’m pretty sure it’s all of us
jrwhite21
Lololol I literally scrolled down to the comments to see a comment like “maybe my Red Sox can pull him out of retirement to play first instead of Hanley” this feels mean I’m so sorry
Kayrall
That’s why I’m here.

Nope. Every single post that’s the first thing I look for. I admire his love for his team and that he reads these articles to learn more about baseball, but it is humorous.

Poor guy, i swear if he comes back from this he’s gonna have his own inspirational movie and then a long career as a motivational speaker

…which he’ll have to take significant time off frequently for a series of throat infections…

It may be only because the A’s play in the same division as the Angels that they’ll avoid losing 100 games this year.

lol Parker was way down on the depth chart and due to be reliever at AAA this season, losing Parker and gaining the Orioles guy was actually better for the team.

I hate stories like this. how many rehabs can someone manage? If he does choose to do it, he’s worth rooting for, no matter who your hometown team is.

I think Tommy John should pass the torch and allow it to be named Jarrod Parker surgery
DoolittleDoolate
The third Tommy John is the Jarrod Parker? Makes sense.

This is awful. A very talented pitcher dammed by injuries. But that’s life. At this point, he should somehow reinvent himself or simply retire….

Hope he can get back. Likely though this is it. Arms only have so many pitches in them and I’m afraid Parker has hit his limit. I think the multiple fracture of his arm is the far more major of the two injuries.

Jonny Venters has had 3 TJ’s and is currently throwing 98 for the Rays, so there’s still hope for Parker.
So lame that most of this thread is posts not about the topic.
