Strips success is hardly “improbable”. Before his TJS, prospect sites were calling him a potential mid-rotation starter. His minor league track record is very good and he was just as good as Wacha at Texas A&M. Even MLB.com recently said at the start of the year that he still had promise as a #4 if some things break right.
