Angels should try signing him to a minor league contract.

Good ball player wrong team to much talent love it if Atlanta pick him up could be a big factor there

I have an honest question for you or anyone else wanting Kalish.
I don’t see the Cubs wanting $25 K for him. If run through waivers, more than one team would be interested. Soooooo….
Kalish has very minor value. Whichever team you prefer, Braves or whoever, give me three 2015 third round draft picks for me to choose from. My stipulation is that they have to have some history of pro success. (Decent K/W in the SALLY League. Or whatever.)
It’s illegal to trade for draft picks before the fact. It’s legal to trade them after the fact.
Again, third day guys that have been at least adequate as pros. I’ll choose the guy I like best from the offers, and your team “gets” Kalish.
(Yes, this is exactly how I would make a trade regarding Kalish or Federowicz in the next few weeks. I expect Theo Epstein will try to revisit his Tony Campana trade success.)

You could’ve just said PTBNL… And no, no one is going to trade the 2015 3rd round draft pick for the guy. My guess is cash considerations, waiver claims, or it’s completely possible
ThatGuy 2
*its completely possible that no one wants him and he gets outrighted

I said third *day* draft picks. 22nd Rounder? 17th? 32nd?
Third DAY.
tim815
It’s possible. But have you seen how lousy some of these teams are?

Why would the Cubs want to trade him? He adds depth so they don’t need to rush younger players when faced with an injury situation. The fact that he may have minimal trade value and the Cubs may see more value in his current role than to just trade him for a low level minor league player that may never see the majors.

Maybe read your initial post before saying what you said.

So much potential 7-8 years ago. Was expected to be something of a Nick Markakis clone.
