Yep. Bautista got disciplined tonight by Texas.
GeauxRangers
That was the best
Calipers
Odor should wear a dress and eyeshadow for the rest of his life after getting an open shot like that and not even phasing the man. Sad. We should give Texas back to Mexico after that.
theo2016
I doubt u have ever been in a fight with someone bigger than you that was preparing to be hit then.
stl_cards16 2
Didn’t phase him? I don’t think you watched it. He was definitely phased since his first reaction was about 5 steps backwards and his hands up over his head
chieftoto
Do u morons know how to spell “Face”? Not phase. Your not vision.
txphi_991
Bautista himself said it takes a big man to knock him down and gave Odor credit so stop hating on the Greatest country in America!!!
chieftoto
Think about what you just said. “Greatest country in America!” America is a country therefore there can’t be a country in a country. Texas is a state. Is everyone uneducated in America?
natsgm
Pretty sure “face” isn’t the correct word either you moron.
natsgm
or you don’t understand the joke….
justacubsfan
You’re*. And if you’re referencing Vision, his name should be capitalized.
AzMike
If Beltre hadn’t held him up Bautista was going down and going to sleep
Math&Baseball
Do you understand that “didnt phase him” means it didnt do anything to him? Although the punch did, phase and face are different words.
Jason G
I believe the word you have all failed to come up with is “faze.”
AidanVega123
Pretty sure it’s spelled “phase”
jd396
Break it up!
chieftoto
You guys r really easy! Got ’em! This is the best way to get some laughs! Although I was serious about the country thing. But legit, really? Vision is a fictional character. Capitalization is the last thing people care about.

Your confused

It would be interesting to see what teams would offer for Pomeranz if he can keep up his nice start to the season. Depending on how things turn out, maybe Preller could package him with another player to try and get even more value back.
blackleather
unless it was something stupid, I dont see them trading Pomeranz.. Cashner aint worth a damn, he walks soon enough. Shields is probably outta there, if not be the trade deadline, definitey next offseason. And he wont have to be all that good or great, because next year’s FA market will be pretty weak…and Tyson Ross is a big, fat question mark. So, why would they trade Pomeranz when 1) he’s very affordable and controllable…and 2) because they dont have as much big league ready-pitching as some think?
theo2016
Pomeranz is only under control thru 2018, the Padres won’t be competetive by then without dealing from the roster, he has value because of the weak free agent class. He throws so many curveballs that like Ross he can get hurt any minute so it makes sense to get value now. He leads the majors in curve usage, just ahead of rich hill.
robco92
Pomeranz does throw a lot of curveballs, but he throws them like a fastball, he has an unorthodox way of throwing it so he’s not like Ross as you say about to get hurt any minute.
cubsfan2489
Hey, I’d take Cashner in a heartbeat. Bosio works wonders, just ask Arrieta!
robco92
Sounds good, Padres will take back what they gave the Cubs for him. Haha
WAH1447
Doubt it the Cubs are the team that traded him in the first place I believe for rizzo
raiders
Just because the Cubs traded him away doesn’t mean they don’t (or didn’t) like him. You have to trade something good to get something good most of the time. They wanted Rizzo more that they wanted Cashner. Not saying they will trade back for him but to say because they traded him away so they won’t trade back for him is incorrect in my opinion.
Aaron Stahl 2
perfect logic, the cubs certainly wouldn’t want Josh Donaldson or Chris Archer back. The cubs traded them they certainly don’t want them back.
Philliesfan4life
Kinda like when the cubs traded Chris Archer for Matt Garza right
jd396
QO for Ramos? I’d be pretty surprised at that.
zozo
I think Neil Walker will get the QO. I am not sure if it’s Duda free agent year as well but he might get one this year as well.

“The A’s have been adamant about keeping Gray, though with his rough start, Bowden wonders if the club could decide to move him while he still has value.”
This is called ‘selling low’ and pretty much no one ever does it. Bowden is an idiot for writing something this incoherent. Also Gray fixed his mechanics during his last start and he and his catcher claimed he was better than ever from the 4th inning on yesterday.
seth3120
A month and a half into the season Gray is about to lose all value haha
