As bad as Peavy and Cain have been I hope the Giants don’t do something hasty and decide to bring Lincecum back. Two pitchers who can’t get past the 5th inning is two too many, no need for another.

I agree – really peavy should be moved to the long man role, broadway sent down and clayton blackburn should be brought up and slotted into the rotation

Good luck Timmy, hope you get another crack at it. Loved watching “The Freak” in his prime.

I’d honestly love for the Dodgers to bring him aboard. Wood is inconsistent, Stripling is on a pitch limit and looks human after all. We could use him. Not sure when Ryu will be back and if his health will hold up and when McCarthy comes back you never know with his health either.

That lack of velocity doe….
dwilson10
His velocity has built back up. He’s throwing around 90 on flat ground so he’s probably able to get to around 92-94 on a mound.

Regardless of who signs him I do hope he does well. The guy is good for baseball. He’s fun to watch when he’s on his game. He was one of the best for a while there. Always hates when we faced him lol.

Posted one month off, it’s May 1st not April 1st.

Eww. The O’s signed Wandy? Please, no. I don’t ever want to see him in an actual Orioles uniform.
drum18
Wouldn’t mind the Yankees taking a flier on him. Getting another starter couldn’t hurt. It’s not as if the rotation is particularly good – as well as the lineup – right now.

Seattle just opened up a spot on the 40 man roster. Hmm I wonder if there is a plan for him to come home and finish his career with the team that should have drafted him in the first place.
vwnut13
He’d probably be better than David Price.
staypuft
Doubt it. Price has a 3.35 SIERA and his xFIP is under 3. It’s just bad luck at this point.

Yankees better kick the tires

Sounds like a Royals type of move with MiL deal to start. Replace Medlin or Young along the way.while Lincecum gets to pitch in a big ballpark, a different league and with a great defense around him.

The White Sox need a 5th starter desperately.
frankthetank1985
Do we know what ever happened to him? What a fall off. I kinda hope as a mets fan, that Clayton k will have a fall off, otherwise Noah, degrom, etc have no shot at cy young awards hahaha.
