And this is why I love bloggers. In the end they just look at numbers but don’t truly understand the game. If you’ve watched the Dodgers you would understood that Turner was batting 3rd because he still gives you quality ABs. Early on Turner was still working positive counts, just hit balls right at people or wasn’t on time. Balls that he normally crushes he was late. Now that’ he’s on time we see that the last two years haven’t been a mirage. Although I do agree with Kikè it’s not the numbers but the quality of his ABs have been terrible.

Every month we get a reminder of why we don’t read the baseball blogs. Not sure I need it anymore.

Kershaw isn’t gonna be the best pitcher is MLB history of he can’t perform well in the playoffs.

I don’t have a big problem with Turner 3rd or Agon cleanup, but a main issue for the Dodgers is the lack of a true leadoff hitter. They haven’t had one since they traded Gordon. Gonzalez drop in power is more noticeable when the top of the order isn’t getting on base. Wouldn’t mind seeing them go after Braun if the cost isn’t prohibitive.
