I was shocked about Drury, but the stats show more of the story than his total line.

AZ may ask for Z. Wheeler, but Drury isn’t the kind of player you give up a potential top of the rotation arm. Yes, Wheeler is coming back from TJ, but he was formerly an elite prospect with a lot of upside.

I think you have rose tinted glasses on. Both Wheeler AND Drury have to be measured by potential rather than production because if you look at production, Wheeler only looks like a solid no.3

A solid #3 is more valuable than Brandon Drury. Wheeler is more valuable than Brandon Drury as well.

I personally like Drury, 23 and he is like a poor mans Bryant.

Drury has been mentioned in trade talks with the Mets – his trade value was just reduced considerably

Not particularly. He had been scuffling before, and Brito was needed to play center field. Wheeler was likely never even considered for Drury anyways (nor should he be)

Kyle Jensen has 61 RBIs and has hit .300 for over a month at Reno, has power as well. Dbacks should give him a shot, he’s 28 and if they don’t want to keep him, he could generate some interest. He has led his team in HRs and RBIs each year for the last 4 years but never gets the call up, don’t know why.
