What the Red Sox need is low cost rental relievers because bullpen is what wins games but we got Smith, Kimbrel, Koji banged up. We already have the best offense in the league, just need to finish off the game.

There was a time when torn labrum’s and rotator cuff surgery was more common than TJ.
Brett Saberhagen, Wayne Garland come to mind right away. Pitchers work out more to strengthen the shoulder to avoid the issue during their respective careers, tho not saying Hultzen didn’t of course.

Brandon Webb, Roy Halladay and Mark prior, as well. Shoulders are tricky. Elbows are a lot easier to fix.
