For some reason the Braves signed him early last offseason like he was a hot commodity

He had all that speed early on and was afraid to use it. Will never forget that partial season Trader Jack took over the helm of the Marlins and took Boni under his wing, taught him how to use his speed and gave him the confidence to be a REAL MLB player.. He’d yell so loud to GOOO from the dugout early on that Boni would jump and takeoff from 1b, everyone on the field, even the broadcasters and listening audience would here it.. Opponents.. It didn’t matter with his speed and he’d make it.
Jack was getting way up there in age.. That was it for him in the dugout and next year? Boni was back to his old self.. The drive was gone.

It wouldn’t hurt for the Cardinals to take a look at him.
