Wow, just the impact bat they needed to add! -_-

haha yeah, Ruggiano is trash. Decent base runner but that’s about it. He was a waste of Ranger money so we dropped him. I’m really surprised someone picked up such a mediocre player out of such a wide availability of outfielders.

I liked Ruggiano when he was a Cub, even though he never did much. Not really going to help that Mets offense, but I’m glad he’s getting another shot at the Bigs.

Wow! That should really help protect YC baseballs most under whelming lineup!

I’m not 100% sure on what the Mets we trying to accomplish with getting an outfielder/southpaw killer, besides replacing injured Juan Lagares, but they have Brandon Nimmo in the minors awaiting another aportunity at the Major League level. Unless the are planing on Wilmer Flores at 3rd and Asdrubel at short, I am still supriseed they signed Justin to a Major League contract. If anybody has any thoughts, on anything I talked about please let me know!

At least it’s a right handed bat they can send out there. I hope he can play CF.

Ruggiano looked good out in CF with the Dodgers and obviously hits lefties well. Good, almost no-cost stopgap for the Mets.

Guessing they would have brought up an infielder to replace Reyes on the roster. May be a sign that mets are preparing to move Nimmo and need the OF depth
