Too bad !
Somebody on the Mets has angered the Gods !

The Mets need to make a trade in a Big Hurry. Front office had to know several days ago this could be a possibility, why did they wait till the last minute to add a insurance player??

Not many 2B or 3B that cleared waivers, unfortunately. They might be okay with Kelly Johnson, especially with how he’s been hitting.

The Mets won the Walker trade, easily. Not even close. But they are somehow behind the Pirates in the WC race. On paper, that sounds crazy.

considering the number and severity of the roster hits, not very surprising….but, they are actually ahead of the pirates for the WC right now
Ravens_Last_Place
Oh yeah, the Cubs are destroying the Pirates.

If Niese does not injure his knee in June, may have been a wash for the trade. He actually was pitching fairly well till after his June start against the Mets. He had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago. Bummer all around on this deal

i don’t know, i feel the mets certainly got value on the move, even with the injury situation now.

Neil, for goodness sake, get to Dr. David Oliver-Smith!!

Any talk of moving Cabrera to 2B and Reyes to SS? Flores, Kelly Johnson, and Loney can handle 3B and 1B.

The number of injuries the Mets have suffered this season is unbelievable…yet they’re still in a good position.

The mets need to spring for better road hotels apparently. Get softer seats in the club house or something.
