How has the MLB not completely stepped in with the Oakland stadium situation? Their stadium was literally spewing fecal matter. That’s how disgusting it is. It’s outdated, ugly from an aesthetic standpoint, and dumps literal crap and urine. Billionaire ownership but can’t fix the issue?

Why are the Taxpayers of Oakland going to pay for a Stadium for Billionaires .

MLB had more pressing matters.
Implementing a rule where if you slide a few degrees left or right of a bag for the safety of borderline MLB players has been much more important to the forward thinking braintrust of MLB.

You have MLB and NFL and neither has done a thing about it. It is nuts I guess the NFL’s idea is to let the team move to Las Vegas but that won’t be for 2 years so they still will have to play in that cess pool for 2 more years and who knows about the A’s.
whereslou
I didn’t see Davis planned to play at Stubhub Stadium or maybe UNLV Stadium. So forget them playing there two more years.

But then Florio says he has contracts to play at Oakland so who knows what will happen.

Taxpayers should atleast get some free tickets, its bullshit having to fund these stadiums for billionaire owners and millionaire players

Sale the A’s to the Warriors’ ownership, committed business minded eager to win group, new venue or not. Billy Bean will surely be offered his job back and with the resources in place then the A’s should be in the wining path again…

The A’s will be fine, new stadium or not. I love the Coliseum, personally.

Yankees youth movement at 1B will consist of signing the younger Edwin Encarnacion to man 1B for half the season and DH the other half.
dobsonel
Never happen. He is out of the Yankees price range this season as they will attempt to get under and reset the luxury tax.
