Nicely done mr. Adams!
I thought that maybe the over use of Chapman would’ve cause the same result as the over use of Kluber. Anyway it’s an amazing game 7 for the ages.

Chapman coughing up the lead tonite, like Familia doing the same when it counted for the Mets proves one thing…concentrate on the game, not on domestic battery.
amishthunderak
That makes no sense.

Cleveland blew a 3-1 lead

Rumor has it the Browns came over to the field after the game and held him hostage there until he agreed to bust their curse, since they owed Cleveland one. XD

Tim should totally write a post on here about what this WS means to him. For once, get the chance to let that Cubbie pride out for the MLBTR faithful to see!

Golden State Chokes, and now Cleveland has Choked! Cubbies out on top!

Cleveland choked? Really? You want to mark this as a Cubs win because Cleveland choked? I saw two evenly-matched teams with everything on the line put on the greatest show on Earth last night. Nobody choked.
And I was rooting for the Cubs the whole way. I’m sure not insulting them by saying they won because Cleveland choked. The Cubs just plain fought and won. Period. And it was freaking beautiful!

cleveland 100% choked… no doubt.
TDKnies 2
I can’t really say Cleveland choked here. If anything the Cubs were the ones choking by being down 3-1 in the first place. The more talented and clearly more healthy team ended up winning the series. Cleveland blew a great opportunity, but can anyone honestly say Cleveland SHOULD have won any of those last three games with Bauer, Tomlin, and a gassed Kluber taking the mound? I can’t.

Get lost, troll.

Not sure I like the braves hiring pitching coaches from the Orioles. Wouldn’t these be the same guys that limited Jake Arrieta, min he moves, he’s suddenly CY young…. or where those different coaches?

Wallace’s first season as Baltimore’s pitching coach was 2014.

So Wallace retires from the O’s and then latches on with the Braves … weird. I realize being a roving instructor is much burdensome than being a MLB pitching coach but weird none the less. He and Chiti did work magic out of the pen with Britton, Brach, Givens, and numerous others. And no this is not the Arrieta guy.
RunDMC
Especially weird if you believe the rumors that former Dave Wallace-disciple, Roger McDowell, was rumored to occupy the O’s pitching coach opening. Now, Wallace takes on a role with ATL – although not as pitching coach, and a different role that could allow him to approach the game in a different way.
I’ll be interested to see if McDowell is inteviewed for the O’s vacancy now that the offseason has begun, but I’m excited that 2 guys credited with Zach Britton are joining the club in an effort to develop the high-end arms we’ve sacrificed to bring aboard.
