Jeremy Hellickson is very popular among students. I have got the forth order at writing service on the topic popular figures in US sport and all request to write about Hellickson.

Great comment.

PLEASE reject the offer Hellickson. Sad day in sports when someone like him can gain that kind of offer. BARELY a MLB pitcher. As far as Boras goes, I sooner believe a politician over him

That’s a little vain, I guess. He’s a MLB pitcher, if I remember correctly he was rookie of the year in 2011… he’s just been on crappy teams in crappy parks. I mean he has a.career 3.90 ERA while it isn’t dominant its certainty serviceable.
Also look at the market, there is zero pitching outside of him, he was good at the right time.

Hellickson is not worth it with a 4.30 FIP

Barely a MLB pitcher? I mean you can’t expect every pitcher to throw sub 3.00 ERA with Cy Young numbers just to qualify as a MLB pitcher. He’s not a top of the rotation pitcher by any means, but a low end 3rd, probably a 4th pitcher in the rotation is what he pitches like. Although I guess you must know all about pitchers though since you’re obviously a pro couch scout who’s been doing this for years and knows better than people who are paid to make decisions like this.

“Agent Scott Boras wouldn’t comment definitively on whether Jeremy Hellickson plans to accept or reject the Phillies’ $17.2MM qualifying offer on Wednesday, writes CSNPhilly.com’s Jim Salisbury, but Bob Nightengale of USA Today tweets that Hellickson has been advised to do so.”
Wait, so Hellickson has been advised to “accept or reject”? That’s kind of not the most specific advice, though I guess the adviser doesn’t like the idea of Hellickson negotiating an extension with the Phillies so that’s one potential avenue advised against at least.

I was wondering the same thing

Not a big name pitcher of course, but with his numbers in 2016 and the thin market for SP in this year’s free agency, look for him to get paid

If I was his agent, I would recommend that he take the QO. First, no one is likely to pay him that amount for 2017. Second, while he is dependable and solid, how many teams would give up a first round pick to sign him? His market may not be that large, and will probably be late developing, after teams other options disappear. Third, he’s young and will still be able to get top dollar next year, but may not have the QO attached due to more pitching being available in FA (he was only tendered because of scarcity), or the players union getting the pick removed as a penalty for signing a FA. He will be in a better position next year.

I like him as a pitcher and I was a team looking for a back of the rotation guy with upside I would take a chance on a two year 20mm deal for him. I don’t think he (read Boras) would do it though
