so three right-handed hitters in a switch hitter. That’s not very much power from the left side.
antonio bananas
three right-handed hitters in a switch hitter sounds NSFW
AidanVega123
HAHAHA
ethan 3
and not as many lefty pictures. They’re not doing good from the left side.

well*
TLB2001
In the lineup or just at 2b? We have Hosmer, Gordo, Moustakas and Moss. There are plenty of lefties.
Lego4365
Gordo means fat
lesterdnightfly
Fat, as in fat chance of success if you try t0 take the extra base on Gordo.

Love this series btw!! Great reads for sp training news

does anybody know when one will be coming out about the nationals?
TheMichigan
I can’t wait for one on the Tigers…
Tigersin2020
Cf- jones/Collins/ one of newly acquired minor league talents
5th starter- pelfrey/Sanchez/Norris/boyd
Not much to talk about when the team is old and set in their positions
davidcoonce74
If you’re starting Mike Pelfrey you’re doing it wrong.
falconsball1993
Old? They have 3 position players and 1 DH over 30. They are not an old team.
davidcoonce74
Detroit had the fourth oldest average hitter in 2016 and the second oldest average pitcher. They’e a pretty old team.
falconsball1993
Yet they have 3 rookies/sophomores in their rotation. Possibility a rookie in CF, a 25yr old C, a 26yr old SS, a 24 yr old 3B. Their old guys are really old which bring the average up, but they are not an old team. Half their team is started by under 25s
unsaturatedmatz
I think Norris has a rotation job locked down after last year’s dominance in the 2nd half.

The Royals are also experimenting with the OF positions. Although it seems likely that LF Alex Gordon, CF Lorenzo Cain and RF Jorge Soler are set, Kansas City is looking for more realignments. There’s talk of Alex Gordon playing CF and Lorenzo Cain moving away from CF. Soler may not be ready and there’s Paulo Orlando, Billy Burns and Brandon Moss who all can play OF.
I think Cheslor Cuthbert has a chance to oust Mike Moustakas at 3B.
SP is Travis Wood’s to loose; its Jason Vargas who needs to prove he can make a comeback from injury.
royalsfan051020
There is absolutely zero chance Cuthbert ousts Moustakas at 3B.
ThePriceWasRight
agree. there’s a reason they are showing him how to play 2nd. moose has to play 3b for
a. to give this team a chance at smelling the playoffs
b. drive up marketability if they fall out on a potential trade.
Joseph Anderson
They’re experimenting in the outfield in case Lo gets hurt or one of the others. He has a track record for injury and without Dyson around anymore you gotta find a good fit for CF. nothing to actually worry about there unless you’re uniformed of what they’re doing.
Cuthbert will be lucky to make the big league roster to start the season although he could be a bench guy. Moose has very little to worry about. I’m not the biggest fan of his but organization likes him a lot so squash that too lol
I think Wood and Karns are the front runners for the last rotation spot and could switch around roles throughout the year like Ned and Dave have done with the likes of Young and Duffy previously.
Aside from all that, you’re 100% spot on haha
