Shame I can make it out to South Carolina. Still it’s a great opportunity for anyone who takes it to have an exposure to this kind of job.

South Carolina is nice but that’s not where the job is. It’s on the other side of the country.

Expensive bro

“The salary requirement needs to be a specific dollar figure. Applications without that information will not be considered.”
They are probably just hoping some naïve sucker sells themselves short and requests a salary far lower than what they were willing to pay.
Dookie Howser, MD
Be bold. Include a dollar figure, but also an opt-out clause.

+1 gave me a laugh. What better way to express your knowledge of baseball?
RichW 2
Yeah that’s a red flag. I’d need significantly more information about the job; expectations, working conditions, hours location and reporting structure before low balling myself. I guess that is the new way of doing business these days.

Yeah I’m not interested (upstate NY’er) but I wouldn’t ask for anything less than $40,000, given what the cost of living is down in Southern California and that its a job which requires a 4 year
Bluesman
At $40,000 a year, you’d be living in poverty in SoCal!
ChiSoxCity
You’d need atleast $80k to scrape by in SoCal. Six figures if you have a family.
sufferforsnakes
$40,000? Where you gonna live, in a trailer out in Barstow?
Astros44
They took R jobsss
